Payment Information
Insurance Information
The following office policies are important for you to read prior to becoming a patient at Pangea Natural Health. They may be changed at any time and such changes will be posted here. Please do not hestitate to ask if you have any questions. These office policies can also be found as part of the new patient forms.
Full payment in the form of cash, check, or credit card is due at the time of service. Lab and dispensary fees are also due at the time of service. If payment is not made within 30 days of service, an interest rate of 15% per month will be applied to your account. Excessively overdue accounts will be forwarded to an outside collection agency and you will be responsible for any fees generated as a result of such efforts. There will be a $20 fee for returned checks.
Although many Idaho insurance carriers do not currently cover naturopathic medicine, times are changing! Pangea Natural Health does not bill to insurance, but we can provide you with an insurance ready form which you can submit for reimbursement if you would like. Basic lab tests may also be reimbursable. In terms of alternative/specialty labs, insurance companies do not often cover these. In cases where it may be possible, you will be provided with an insurance ready receipt. Supplements are not reimbursable by insurance. If you have a health savings account, you can use these funds to pay for both your visits and supplements
Appointment Cancellations and Late Policy
A 24-hour cancellation policy is necessary so that I may have the opportunity to accommodate other patients. There will be a $30 fee for canceling with less than 24 hours notice, and a $40 fee for failure to show up for your appointment. If you are late for your appointment you will be seen for the remainder of the time, but will be charged the full rate of your scheduled service. If you are excessively late, at our discretion you may be asked to reschedule.
Phonecall and Email Policy
I am happy to answer any brief questions you may have via phone or email whenever I am available. However, if you are calling or emailing about a new or more detailed concern, I may ask you to schedule a phone consultation or office visit for more comprehensive care.
Dispensary Return/Exchange Policy
Opened dispensary items can not be returned or exchanged. Unopened dispensary items may be returned for a refund or product exchange within 30 days of purchase date.
After Hours and Emergency Policy
Pangea Natural Health does not provide after-hours, emergency care, or hospital-based services. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
